I appreciate your stated interest, Peter, in improving the quality and tone of public debate. But this forum with six speakers is very, very narrow - in both demographics and viewpoints. In diverse western Sydney, you have a forum with six representatives of the white, professional, managerial class who run society. Can't Labor people be a little bit radical anymore, and talk to people from outside their own managerial class? Is that too hard? Have they become so used to living in a cossetted managerial bubble, that six of the same type in a forum on the future of democracy seems 'normal'?
